Chrome OS is an open source operating system based on Linux kernel, and was introduced by Google in 2009.
The Chrome OS has a structure of cloud computing (cloud computing), facing the portable computer market. With a kind of Windows Explorer divided into tabs, applications are run from the web without the need for installing software locally. It has some features in common with Android, including the use of Linux as the kernel, and graphic design - which apparently will further this time, since he is being designed specifically for browser support, and the announcement clarifies that developers applications for Chrome OS should even focus on web platforms, because that is what it will bear.
The layout of the home screen is pretty simple: presents some icons with direct link to some of the features that Google believes to be the most accessed by users. The first line displays icons for tools, such as Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo! Mail, Google Calendar, Google Reader and Google Docs.

ADVANTAGES
? OS free and free of charge.

? The Chrome OS is impressive, especially the loading speed of the system. In less than a minute you can now access the tools available, read your emails and listen to music without any problems.

? Even if an operating system that works in the cloud, Chrome OS has a feature to work offline, providing the tools even without being connected. Google Docs, for example, can be used normally even without any internet connection. Changes made to documents are automatically synchronized with the documents online so the computer is connected to the internet.

? An important point of Chrome OS relates to printing. Using the Google Cloud Print the user can send documents to the printer from anywhere in the house.

DISADVANTAGES
? Installing a bit laborious and also presents some small bugs.

? Although most users who often work with your computer is connected all the time, that does not necessarily mean that everyone has a quality signal. Especially in Brazil, where the infrastructure and the prices do not allow everyone to have access to high-speed connection, this can mean trouble.

? Storing information on the Internet can also be a recipe for cybercriminals. After all, a raid on an online service not only undermines the login information of users, but all documents stored there, which can range from simple school projects to confidential reports on companies
