SUMMARY:
When you right click on the Internet Explorer toolbar or click View->Toolbars all the options are grayed out.
SOLUTION:
There are a couiple of registry settings that control this behavior.
- Go to Start->Run and type regedit.
- Navigate to each of the folowing two registry keys:
- HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
- HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer
- Delete the following two keys if they exist
- NoBandCustomize
- NoToolbarCustomize
