Symptom:
When you use Windows Internet Explorer 8, you cannot access your Webmail.
Method to resolve the problem:
Method 1: Delete the browsing history
Internet Explorer could be using old information when you try to use your Webmail. Try deleting your browsing history to see whether the problem is resolved. To do this, follow these steps:
Click Start, and then click Internet Explorer.
Method 2: Run Internet Explorer in No Add-ons mode
Browser add-ons can sometimes interfere with or conflict with other software on your computer. Start Internet Explorer without add-ons to see whether the problem is resolved. To do this, follow these steps:
Click Start, and then type Internet Explorer in the Start Search box.
If disabling all add-ons resolves the problem, you might want to use Add-on Manager to disable all add-ons, and then turn on add-ons only as you want them. This lets you determine which add-on is causing the problem. To do this, follow these steps:
Click Start, and then click Internet Explorer.
Method 3: Reset Internet Explorer settings
Reset Internet Explorer back to its default settings. This removes all changes that were made to Internet Explorer since it was installed, but it does not delete your favorites or feeds. To do this, follow these steps:
Click Start, and then click Internet Explorer.
Method 4: Perform a System Restore
If you can identify a time when your Internet Explorer was working correctly, you can restore your system files and settings to that earlier point in time to see whether the problem is resolved. To do this, follow these steps:
Click Start.
In Accessories, click System Tools, and then click System Restore.
If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type your password, or click Continue.
Method 5: Contact your Webmail provider for support
If the previous methods do not resolve your issue, you can contact your Webmail provider to see whether they can help you.
